The September lunch was a very exciting day for me as it was my first meeting as chairman of the Association. I would like to thank Luzia for all her efforts over the past year as chair. She will most certainly be an unforgettable chairman and as I said at the handover a hard act to follow.
Stuart and Tricia as always, made sure that the lunch ran like clockwork and I am pleased that they will be there to support me going forward as they did for Luzia.
As always the food, service and wine at the Chewton Glen was exceptional, and to top it all off we had a most enjoyable speaker Lee Peck, who shared his interesting experiences in the world of PR. I would also like to thank Deep South Media who did a fantastic job of covering this event and promoting the Association.
It was a pleasure to have a whole table from Fiander Tovell accountants to join us at the handover, and to celebrate David Harper’s retirement and Dean Weale’s promotion to director of the firm. I know that they all enjoyed the lunch very much and I would like to encourage all members to bring guests to the lunches and promote this great Association.
This month’s speaker on Friday 21st October is Keith Barkway, who has had a successful career as a male model and film and TV support artiste. I am very much looking forward to hearing about his adventures in the world of the support artiste.
