Last month we had a great talk about engagement at work courtesy of Jo Hompstead from Engaging Works. If you haven’t used their survey, or asked your staff to try it we suggest you visit here: Workplace Happiness Survey
This month it is our Sports Day and already we have a full house with the Croquet.
Our Croquet Guru Tim Archer (left), is our special guest, and he’ll be telling us all about the exciting World of Croquet. For the last four years his partner Martin Dock has organized the croquet day at Chewton Glen and both run the very successful www.croquetforevents.com
So if you have clients who love to play golf and then have a sumptuous luncheon, Thursday 20th is the date for you.
As always the lunch is open to everyone and Stuart will be presenting the Prizes for the Golf and Croquet with the usual fun, banter, and rhetoric of the mornings sporting stories.

In the photos you can see Alan Burden in action on the golf course and Sandeep Sesodia willing his partner’s ball through in the Croquet tournament.
This month is our fun sports morning on the famous and immaculate turf of Chewton Glen’s Croquet Lawn as well as the difficult par 3 golf course.
If you cannot make the morning’s fun and games, you can still enjoy the lunch as normal with your guest/s.
It will be the 24th time the golf has been played, and the seventh time running for the Croquet. Martin Dock a professional national croquet player will again be on hand to guide you round the lawn.
You will be receiving all the necessary detail from Stuart within the next couple of days.
Hampshire’s Fare Speaker
Last month’s speaker was a breath of fresh air and really stirred the appetite. Very much involved with the Hampshire Food festival Tracy Nash of Hampshire Fare delivered a very interesting talk on what was available in the local area.
Katie Young has stepped down as Chairman, as she has now left Peter Hall Ltd. Katie is moving onto developing a new company and is looking forward to re-joining the Association under the name of her new company “Kewans Limited”.
I should like to thank Ian Hunter our present Vice Chairman, who has so ably chaired the last few meetings. He will become our New Chairman in the September handover luncheon.
We are hoping to attract interest in the revival of our Sailing Day in Lymington / Yarmouth on Friday 18th August.
July’s meeting returns to the third Friday of the month, namely the 21st.
Looking forward to a good turnout later this month
