Singer Suzanne Poole
The last luncheon before the summer break features a rising star of the performing arts as our guest speaker, or in this case singer.
Suzanne Poole is 17. She is a student at Barton Peverill college in Eastleigh studying her A levels in Acting, Music and Moving Image. She will go on to study a BA in Acting at University and is looking forward to working in theatre, TV and films. Suzanne holds a LAMDA gold award at grade 8 for her acting and has a scholarship for singing with Hampshire Hub.
Suzanne sings at civic ceremonies, corporate events and balls and also sang for an audience with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber in the Great Hall, Winchester. She has also appeared in a number of theatre productions including the lead twice at the Mayflower in Southampton, where she will play Cosette in Les Miserable this summer.
She has appeared in two short films and a BBC2 TV makeover programme. Suzanne has been singing since she was very young and was until recently self taught. She has won numerous singing competitions in the South including a second place amongst trained Sopranos at a Rotary young musicians event.
