America’s Cup Is Full Of Irish Cheer

March 8, 2017

Dear Members

Chairman Katie Young

I would like to say a huge thank you to Sally Percival for making sure that the February luncheon went smoothly as always. Whilst Tricia and Stuart were missed I do hope that they had a wonderful holiday and I look forward to hearing all about their adventures at this month’s luncheon.

As promised our very own member, Darren Tibble was a fantastic speaker and made us laugh with his interesting tales of employment law and his insight into what the employment world may look like post Brexit.

Our speaker at the March Luncheon will be Bob Fisher the Yachting Journalist to talk to us about “The America’s Cup”, which will be raced in Bermuda later this year.

I am sure that Bob will be an incredible speaker and that his talk will encourage you all to sign up for the Executives Association Sailing Day on Thursday 17th August.

I look forward to seeing everyone on the 17th of March ( St Patrick’s Day !! )

March’s Guest is Bob Fisher

Bob Fisher the Yachting journalist is our speaker this month and he will be updating us on the America’s Cup plus reminding us of its place in history, especially this region.

Bob has written about the America’s cup for years and is the most authoritative journalist on the subject, he lives in Lymington and will be adding some local flavour too. He might even mention Ben Ainslie!

The video below shows why he is held in such high regard.
