Luncheon meetings begin with a networking opportunity in the form of a drinks reception held in the Morning Room from 12.00 p.m. onwards. Lunch begins at 12.45 p.m. and comprises a 3-course meal with wines. Between each course each EA Solent member has the opportunity to present their business to the assembled company, and to introduce their guest(s). After lunch there is a talk from the speaker of the day and the meeting closes at approximately 3.15 p.m

Prior to the luncheon in June each year an annual Golf Day is held on Chewton Glen’s golf course which is open to all members and guests, though limited in numbers.

August is the exception to the monthly luncheon, where instead the Association hosts its annual Sailing Regatta on the Solent, a hugely popular event which is attended by other Associations.

Guest speakers include many prominent and diverse personalities drawn from the world of business and politics, ranging from business leaders, opinion formers and public figures.

Some of our previous prominent guest speakers include: Digby Jones, George Cox, Sir Michael Lickiss, Rupert Lowe, Sir Bob Reid, Conor Burns, Lee Peck, Nick Owen and many others to whom we are most grateful for their participation.
